Alcala!

This is what I encountered right before leaving. Even this cat didn't want me to leave. (Don't worry, that's not the suitcase I brought, just my extra clothes I didn't know what to do with).

So it's noon in Spain, we arrived yesterday and I feel like I've been traveling FOREVER. The Madrid airport is seriously the prettiest airport I've ever seen, and way clean. Now we're in Alcala with our host mom Juana, and her two sons Guillermo and Dani. Here's a picture of the front (which I took and was then told by Juana I need to wear a jacket and not just short sleeves because it's COLD outside!)-

It's in a little gated complex with about a thousand other apartments that look the same.

The room is nice, we each get our own huge closet and miniature desk. Not even kidding, the desk and chair are literally miniature. And well that's about all I can think of to write. We went to bed at 8 last night, and after 5 hours of sleep I woke up and could't fall back asleep. Today should be interesting.
