Perfecto.

The past 2 weeks have just been absolutely perfect and I never want to leave my home here in Spain ever ever ever and I don't even wanna think about it just wanna go hang out in plazas and take siestas forever.

With that said, a lil about my life-

Went to a RealMadrid game vs. Moscow. And we kicked their butts. So much fun.

Just over a week ago we had a trip to Northern Spain. Visited Burgos, Bilbao, Guernica, and oh yeah a surprise trip to freaking FRANCE, and San Sebastian. Burgos was just a cute lil town with a cool cathedral where we got to spend the day, Bilbao has Frank Gehry's Guggenheim and a bunch of cool modern architecture. We visited Guernica to learn more about the bombing that occurred there in 1937, which is what Picasso's famous "Guernica" painting is based off of. After this our professors surprised us with a trip to Biarritz, FRANCE to spend the afternoon. I had my first macaroon there-MANGO. Oh life. Just chillin on the coast of France. The rest of the trip was awesome too- ate great tapas, rode on a carousel by the beach, saw famous monks sing, went on a 'hike', and all thanks to the amazing Jose Miguel bus driver [aka Megamind].

This Monday we left early and headed to Valencia for "Las Fallas". It's this crazy festival, we just went for the last day, where each neighborhood raises money to build these huge sculptures from wood and paper mache, then they BURN them at night. But beforehand they have the biggest, loudest, craziest displays of firecrackers of my life. Windows-breaking-war-zone-ear-drum-shattering-loud. Needless to say 4th of July will never be the same again. And that's just during the day - once it's night random fireworks and firecrackers going off all over the place, little kids roamin around just blowin up crap, so much craziness. Lights and people everywhere, oh gosh it's just indescribable. We ended up getting back home at 7 am the next day. Awesome experience. And luckily Chloe was there to document it and I may have taken these pictures from her (:

Everything about this week has just been so good - Just hangin around town, Spanish karaoke bar, learning to make paella, playing Spanish monopoly.....gahh. Even the crazy modern opera dance thing we went to tonight [and left a quarter of the way through] was so fun.

And just whenever I get really bummed about leaving I try to remember that I'll get to see BOTH of my sisters in less than a month. And the rest of my family. But first gonna go drive around Italy for a week. Seriously though how is this still real life.
