It snows in Spain?!

Sooo one week ago..maybe two..I dunno... we visited Avila and Salamanca, then Toro and Tordesillas. Avila was freezing cold and it freaking SNOWED, not sure if I took any pictures but it has this amazing wall or "Muralla" surrounding the city. Also we saw Saint Teresa's fuzzy green finger,(she died in 1582) which was pretty disgusting. But she was this amazing woman, and I guess all these churches around the world claim to have relics of her which is just really weird thinking random body parts of hers are in glass cases on display everywhere. Don't remember much else about Avila because it was so miserably freezing.
Salamanca has the oldest University in Spain, an amazing Plaza Mayor, and a sick (now public library) building called "Casa de las Conchas". And until I get my film developed no pictures from that. But these are all easily google-able if you have a lot of free time on your hands or would just like to procrastinate doing something else.
Toro was a small town with an impressive Roman Cathedral, here's a lil view of the river below it and a picture I stole from my amazing roommate of us in front of it.
Thanks Jessi!
Tordesillas has a convent where a famous Spaniard woman now referred to as "Juana la Loca" stayed in a windowless room for 50 or so years. The best part was after our tour of the convent we walked back into the main plaza and a bunch of old men were playing music and everyone just danced around as a group with these old Spanish people. This is our life. Then during our free time we explored some sketchy old abandoned building in the river and I got some ceramic earrings from a sweet lil man (:
